What People are Saying

“Ruth Mattingley is an outstanding leader of educational improvement. As a school district leader, she earned a reputation as a caring and persistent advocate for students, as well as an effective instructional leader of staff. She brought these same qualities to her work as Senior Executive Officer in the Ontario Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat, laying the foundation in the early years of Ontario school reform for our province's internationally recognized success in raising literacy and numeracy results for our students in kindergarten to grade 6. She continues to provide advice and guidance to our reforms from time to time. Ruth is a gifted speaker with a deep knowledge of change, curriculum, and assessment. She is an engaging presenter and an effective change leader.”
