Vicky Giouroukakis, Ph.D. presents at regional, national, and international conferences and conducts professional development in school districts in the areas of literacy, curricular and standard alignment, and teaching English Language Learners.  Throughout her career, her interests have focused on standards and assessment and how they affect teaching and learning.  Vicky’s research interests include adolescent literacy, standards and assessment, teacher education, and cultural and linguistic diversity, with her work being featured in numerous books and journals.
