JENNI DONOHOO is a three-time bestselling author and professional learning facilitator with more than 20 years’ experience in leading school change. Jenni is the past president of Learning Forward Ontario. In addition to her writing and consulting work, Jenni is on contract with the Council of Ontario Directors of Education. In this role she supports quality implementation of high-leverage practices to improve adolescent literacy in school districts.

AINSLEY ROSE recently retired after 35 years in public education. As the former Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Western Quebec School Board in Gatineau, Ainsley was responsible for initiating systemic changes that continue to impact teaching and learning within the school board today.

NATHALIE LAURIAULT is a teacher in Ontario, Canada. Having taught for 30 years, she has specialized in teaching young children in mostly bilingual classroom settings. She is the co-author of Tools for Teaching Conceptual Understanding, Elementary with Julie Stern. She has conducted research on Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction in her classroom and previously served as the Primary Years Programme Coordinator at the Toronto French School. In this role, she became a certified trainer in Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction. She has also served as a workshop leader and consultant for the International Baccalaureate of America.

JULIA BRIGGS lives and works in Bogotá, Colombia, she teaches Science and Chemistry and is the Head of IB Chemistry at Colegio Anglo Colombiano where she also works with departments and individual teachers as a coach and certified trainer of Concept Based Curriculum and Instruction. She is passionate about supporting teachers to develop their practice so that students may deepen their conceptual understanding of the world to be authentically prepared for the future.
