Wendy Baron has taught Grades K-6, served as a Title I reading specialist, supervised and instructed prospective teachers at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), and for the past 20 years, she has worked directly with new teachers and principals in Grades K-12. Alisa Barrett is in her 19th year in education, and is currently in her seventh year as the Director of Instruction for Greenfield Exempted Village Schools. She has taught kindergarten, first, and third grade in Tennessee and Ohio. Carol A. Bartell has been interested in teacher induction since 1988, when she first became involved with what was then the California New Teacher Project, a pilot project with fifteen districts in California.
